ApoAlly Insights#
Introduction#
How ApoAlly Insights Works#
Thanks to the integrated text-to-SQL technology, ApoAlly Insights allows users to intuitively and easily create complex SQL queries using natural language. The AI model directly translates your input into high-performance database queries, delivering reliable results in real time without requiring specialized technical knowledge.
Example of a query:
“What was the revenue from ibuprofen products last month per manufacturer?”
Uploading Your Own Data#
ApoAlly supports the integration of individual pharmacy data from enterprise resource planning systems and can process data from various fields, such as:
- Cash transactions and sales data
- Incoming goods and supplier data
- Inventory and warehouse management
- Customer information and history
- Other pharmacy-specific data sources
The supported file formats are: - CSV - TSV - XLS (Excel) - XML
You can conveniently upload your data via a standardized REST API interface provided by ApoAlly. This enables simple automation for the continuous or regular import of your most up-to-date data.

Security and Data Protection#
The security and protection of your sensitive business data are of the utmost priority. All uploaded data remain protected within a section of the ApoAlly infrastructure exclusively assigned to your pharmacy. Data transmission is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and storage is carried out in accordance with the strict requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Integration of External Data (e.g., RKI Data)#
In addition to your individual pharmacy data, ApoAlly Insights provides standard access to regularly updated health and surveillance data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), which are freely available under a Creative Commons 4.0 license. This allows for analyses and decision-making processes to be supplemented with additional external public information.
This includes, for example, data on: - Influenza cases - SARI- and ARE consultation incidences - COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths - Respiratory diseases and surveillance indicators - Vaccination rates in Germany - Health data such as Mental Health Surveillance, poliovirus surveillance in wastewater, and more
